True Cut Inc is fully equipped for Core Drilling through concrete walls and concrete slab up to 42 inches in diameter.
In many cases with plumbing or HVAC, core drilling is a needed step in running pipes & conduit through a concrete or brick wall. In which case a core drill and rigging is necessary. We have both electrically powered and hydraulic powered core drills, which allow us to boar through concrete walls and slabs up to 36 inches thick, and thicker in some cases. True Cut Inc. has core drilled holes for many of the water treatment plants within the Inland Empire, as well as many of our local city and county public service providers. Almost no hole is impossible to be cored.
Even homeowners have taken advantage of this service. In many basement remodels, you may have to pipe in new plumbing, or pipe out an exhaust hole for a new wood stove. Our low impact approach allows us to safely, and respectfully core drill through basement walls from either inside or outside your home.
Concrete Core Drilling is a relatively straight forward process. We start by precisely measuring the center of the hole to be cored. Then proceed to measure and drill a small anchor point hole, where we can run an all-thread for the rail used to support the drill & bit. In any case if the job calls for either our hydraulic or electric core drill, we come packing a powerful hydraulic/electric diesel generator to get it done with.
Once all of the rigging is safe and secure we engage the drill bit, turn on the water, and begin drilling into the concrete. The key is to allow the water and the concrete particles to create a light slurry. This allows the diamond drill bit to not only stay cool, and for the concrete dust to interact with the diamond to grind, or drill out the core of the concrete more effectively.
